Heat Press Instructions:

1^st Press : Apply FIRM PRESSURE at 300-310 degrees for 8-10 seconds with the image in the proper placement. Experiment with your heat press for optimal results. 

Cold/Instant Peel : 

• Cold Peel : Let the transfer cool completely before removing the film. Rub the film with cloth if necessary. (PREFERRED)
• Instant Peel : Immediately with one motion peel off the film.

You can peel as you would like; we suggest COLD PEEL.

2^nd Press : Apply FIRM PRESSURE at 300-310 degrees for 3-5 seconds.

Note : FIRM and EVEN pressure is important for good adhesion. Avoid any pockets, seams, buttons, zippers, etc. within the press area.

Polyester/Blend Fabric: Lower the temperature to 300~ degrees and shorten the time to 7-9 seconds, as these fabrics absorb heat faster. 

100% Polyester: Lower the temperature to 250-285 degrees and shorten the press time to 3-8 seconds. Practice to determine the best time, temperature, and pressure. Press multiple times if needed, with cooling time in between.

How to Wash DTF Shirts?

Many people aren’t aware that washing instructions for DTF shirts differ from regular garment care. With DTF transfers, use the right techniques to keep the design intact after multiple washes. 

Here’s how to properly wash your DTF shirts and keep those prints looking like new.

Step 1: Read the Washing Instructions: First, check the specifications from the DTF transfer manufacturer. They may provide specific guidance to help extend the life of your prints.

Step 2: Wash in Cold Water: Always wash DTF shirts in cold water. Hot water can damage the print and fade colors. Cold water helps keep the design intact and prevents it from peeling.

Step 3: Use a Mild Detergent: Use mild detergents made for fabrics when washing your DTF transfer. Strong chemicals will destroy the transfer. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.

Step 4: Turn the Garment Inside-Out: This limits the friction happening on the print and protects the prints. 

Step 5: Wash on a Gentle Cycle: Find the gentle mode on your washing machine for washing DTF shirts. The gentle cycle has less agitation than normal cycles, which means you engage the transfer even less during the wash cycle.

Step 6: Use the Best Detergent for DTF Transfers: Use a mild, gentle detergent with no fragrances or dyes. Your detergent choice can alter or reduce the print's integrity.
